Happy New Year's EVE!

We are almost at the beginning of another year. Many of us pledge to do so much better in the upcoming year. Many are excited about this new beginning. Some even make New Year's Resolutions. I stopped doing that a long time ago! I still set goals though and work hard on attaining them. Dont get weary if you're not accomplishing your 2012 goals as you begin your journey. You cant be successful w/o failures. Many successful people have failed alot of times. Just check out their stories. Some of us did not do too bad last year. Some of us still want to focus on building or even creating a savings. Most of the times folks who set New Year's Resolutions focused them toward financial resolutions. For example, wanting to reduce debt and having more savings ranks pretty high! I have faith in YOU. You can make this year better than ever. Just put your mind to it! Visualize where you want to be at the end of 2012. Focus on that! You can do it. It does not matter how the situation looks NOW, it can be very different at the end of 2012. Dont give up!

I'm Tired of This Cycle I'm Going Through!

How many of you have said that you're tired of not getting ahead? Are you tired of not being able to travel? Are you tired of not having a decent savings and you work EVERYDAY? Are you wondering why others have more than you or can do more than you? If so, it's time for a self-assessment. Analyze yourself! Yep that's a difficult task because all of us THINK we've got it going on; however.............. Can you stand in need of a little assistance? Are you open to someone helping you manage your finances better? Have you set goals for 2012? I have set my goals for 2012. I have put a date on them and I have verbalized them to friends. You have to do all of those to be held accountable! Again, make the goal scary. Dont set a goal that you know is attainable. You're not growing when you do that! Work toward your goal! You have to SEE where you want to be and focus on that. What you focus on will expand. After that, you have to internalize it. Make it your own. You're hungry when it comes to achieving this goal. Lastly, you gotta tell folks what you want to accomplish. Dont be afraid. You can do it! Make your 2012 better than prior years. If you want to make a change, it starts with YOU!
